Essentially a miniature die grinder which is intended for precision tasks, a rotary multi tool has a collet into which a wide variety of accessories can be inserted, enabling it to accomplish various tasks such as cutting, grinding or sanding. • Cordless Rotary Multi Tools - these offer increased portability and convenience when working away from power sockets but battery runtime may be a concern on more demanding jobs. Higher voltage machines deliver more power, with those around the 12v mark offering performance equivalent to a compact cordless drill.
• Corded Rotary Multi Tools - these machines offer increased power and unlimited runtime, typically at a lower price point than cordless equivalents.
