Screwdriver Bits

Screwdriver Bits Information

1/4" hex shank screwdriver bits can be used with handheld bit holder screwdrivers or ratchet handles as well as with power tools like electric screwdrivers, impact drivers and drills. Manufactured to fit a wide variety of fasteners, they are available in numerous sizes and types but by using the filter options on the left of the page you will be able to quickly find the right bits for your requirements.

Here's our quick application guide:

• Torsion Screwdriver Bits - characterized by a slender "waist" between the screwdriver head and shank, the design principle behind these bits is that they are able to flex under stress. This enables them to survive more intensive load conditions that might break a more rigid alternative.
• Impact Screwdriver Bits – impact rated screwdriver bits have been specifically manufactured for use with impact drivers (but as they have a standard 1/4" hex shank there is no reason they cannot be used with other tools too). This means they are designed to endure the extra stress generated by impact mechanisms, which can quickly cause standard screwdriver bits to break.
• Diamond Coated & Max Grip Screwdriver Bits - also found under a variety of other names, these bits typically have an additional surface coating on the head which helps bite into the fastener, providing a snug & secure fit and reducing instances of slippage or cam out.
