Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

The Black & Decker 18v Li-ion System is a range of 18v tools where all 18v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time.
OIS vs Starlock Multi Tools
The OIS or Oscillating Interface System is the original accessory fitting system that many oscillating multi tools use. Tools that have this system are able to use OIS accessories or the newer Starlock accessories but do NOT fit Starlock Plus or Starlock Max accessories.
The Starlock accessory fitment system is fast becoming a newer standard for some brands. Starlock multi tools will only fit Starlock Accessories. OIS, Starlock Plus and Starlock Max accessories do not fit these multi tools.
The Starlock Plus accessory fitment system is a slight variation of the Starlock system. Starlock Plus multi tools will only fit Starlock and Starlock Plus Accessories. OIS and Starlock Max accessories do not fit these multi tools.
The Starlock Max accessory fitment system is a slight variation of the Starlock system it is the heaviest duty multi tool type. Starlock Max multi tools will only fit Starlock, Starlock Plus and Starlock Max Accessories. OIS accessories do not fit these multi tools.

I purchased the multi-tool originally to cut the hardboard surrounding our electricity meter. The meter needs to be changed, but is situated behind a kitchen cupboard, with a hardboard back, which had a cut out to allow access and visibility of the meter, but insufficient access to replace it. I could not use a jigsaw or other appliance because of the proximity to the electricity cables. The B&D multi-tool proved perfect. It cut through the hardboard easily (as you would expect), but the depth of cutter meant it was clear of any cables. Battery life was fine, and the led light proved particularly useful inside the cupboard. I then tried the scrapper tool to remove Artex from my bathroom ceiling. This was a much more challenging task, but the multi-tool was fine. It coped with the dust and the uneven surface, allowing me remove most of the Artex, before using the sander to complete the job and have a surface I could readily paint over. All in all really pleased with tool.

Yes very easy to use, and did what was asked of it. The only thing I find slightly annoying is the position of the speed dial, as I kept catching it, and it moves quite freely from one speed to another. However I would buy another, and recommend it ...
It's been a few months since purchasing this product and I 've used it enough I feel I can give honest review. First of all, I have to say I love B&D tools and I have many that I've been using for years. The multi tool though, is not good! The sliding on/off switch is a joke and whoever designed it should be fired! I struggle to switch it on or off, had to use the knife the other day to push the switch into off position. If your hands are tired or fingers sweaty, dirty then no chance to work the switch. First basic feature drives me absolutely mad every time I use this product! Tool itself works and does the jobs I need it to, but I would never recommend it based on it first fault, a simple switch!
