Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

The Black & Decker 18v Li-ion System is a range of 18v tools where all 18v batteries of all ah ratings fit all tools, allowing you to buy just a few batteries but as many of the range of bare tools that you need without the expense of a new batteries and chargers each time.

Q : Your specification mentions no charger, does that mean this is supplied with no charger? If yes, where do I buy this? This is not giving me an option.
A : Hi there, we sell this machine either with or without a battery and charger, and you have to choose which version you require (from the green drop down menu) before you will be able to add it to your basket
Q : Will this work with a 36v battery?
A : I'm afraid the Black & Decker 18v and 36v battery platforms are not interchangeable with each other - however, we do stock a few Black & Decker cordless vacuum cleaners that use the 36v lithium batteries, for example the BHFEV362D on product ID 21032558
Q : I have this cordless hoover and would like to purchase a crevase nossel attachment. Please could you advise where to get one.
A : Hi Josephine, I don't think they're available as a standard retail product but if you go to the support section of the Black & Decker UK website there's a spare parts section where you can browse all the available spares for sale - I can see the crevice nozzle for the BHFEV182 is available under part code BHFEV182B--38-N764710
Q : Can I purchase a new filter only.
A : Hi Susan, I'm not aware of this being available as a standard retail product at the current time but if you go to the Spares & Repairs section of the Black & Decker UK website they should be able to advise how you can go about getting one as a spare part
Q : Can I download the instructions leaflet
A : Hi Margaret, this is still a fairly new product and Black & Decker don't appear to have made the manual available for download as of yet. You could try contacting them as they may able to send one on to you however

This product carries a full 2 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
