Bosch AQT 37-13 PLUS Pressure Washer 130 Bar
To help determine the type of pressure washer required it is important to consider the size of your cleaning task and level of duty, i.e. how big is the cleaning object and how often will you need to clean it? Below is an explanation of the two main types of pressure washer. Whilst bar pressure is important the overiding factor in cleaning power is the water flow rate. More water = better cleaning.
Home & Garden (sometimes referred to as domestic, DIY or consumer).
Lightweight, easily portable and designed for regular use in a domestic environment, these machines range in power to suit the size of your cleaning task. Models featuring ‘water cooled motor’ technology offer greater performance, and top of the range machines are often fully loaded with accessories.
Xpert or Professional (sometimes referred to as commercial or industrial)
Heavy duty, robust and designed for maximum durability, Xpert or Professional machines have higher pressure and flow ratings, enabling you to clean with far greater speed and efficiency. These machines are not readily available on the high street or in DIY superstores and often feature upgraded components throughout
• Bar or PSI: Bar is the most common measure of pressure. PSI = bar x 14.5.
• Bar (max): This is the pressure achieved when the machine is first turned on
• Bar (rated) pressure: This is the operating water pressure of the machine.
• Motor size (kW): Motor size indicates power providing the machine runs efficiently.
• Flow Rate (l/h): Higher flow rates enable you to clean large areas or objects faster
Did You Know:
Pressure Washers use up to 80% less water than garden hosepipes.
Pressure Washers are not subject to hosepipe bans if used for safety reasons, or if a suction hose is used to pull water from a harvested source. i.e. not the water mains. They are also not subject to a ban if used for commercial reasons, for example to maintain cleanliness, hygiene or company image.
Important things to remember when using your pressure washer:
• Always use an RCD when using electrical products in connection with water.
• Never use a non-return valve at the pressure washer connection to a hose pipe.
• Never drive over or lay items on high pressure hoses to avoid damage.
• Your water supply hose should be a min of several meters long and unwound from its reel.
• If you are using an extension lead, check that it is rated at min of 13 amps and fully unwound from its reel.

Having tried a similar model borrowed from a friend a week or so earlier I decided to buy my own Bosch Pressure Washer. Mainly used for cleaning veranda's, patio's, stone flags and washing cars it has so far performed very well, with some basic but good attachments and excellent water pressure it seems to be shifting the muck and grime without too much effort. A good buy for what I wanted it for.
Just got it today and found it does exactly as it says on the package, good pressure and easy to use. Hope it lives up to Bosch's reliability.
Replaced my 6yr old bosch with this machine. performance is reasonable. Realised the lance pipe is rather short, so got a 6m extension. time will tell re reliability! The company is excellent for service
Just bought this and i am very disappointed with the pressure. I phoned the service centre who said i could use a x big boss hose as the feed. The pressure is less than using the big boss with attachments. I am going to try it out on a normal hose to see if the performance is any better. EDIT: I'm changing the review i just posted. As a last resort i went onto u tube and discovered that i hadn't connected one of the accessories correctly. My opinion has changed.
Very easy to use. Does a good job quickly and without to much mess when cleaning patio and paths.
Excellent bit of kit, patio looks brand new now
Good product but let down on packaging by manufacturer. A couple of parts cracked whilst in transit. That said tooled up back up service exceeded expectations.
With all the attachments, well worth the money, had an aquatak before and bought an adapter and can use all the attachments, would use tooled-up again no probs
Brilliant service/delivery from tooled-up the first time i used this pressure washer i noticed a terrific difference from my previous unit (made by a well known brand) easy to assemble and set up. Very powerful, quieter than expected excellent 90degree nozzle brilliant for my conservatory roof (beware of power) as with my previous unit not really impressed with patio cleaner. Hence only 4 star rating otherwise usual bosch quality product.
So much better than my karcher that just stopped working. The patio brush is much much better. Easier to use than the karcher especially itch the way the nozzle just twists. So far i'm thrilled with the purchase.
Had an auqatak 1500 before my son commendered it as his previous one, again same route came to a sudden halt. always been please with all bosch equipement i have purchased and this is no different. So far very pleased with it and i like the 3 'headed' spary,a nd ability to draw car shampoo direct from bottle.
Everything you would expect from a bosch product. Service from tooled-up was great.
Good all round machine, but few problems eg hard to disconnect nozzle after use the water supply inlet attachment with filter not very robust could be better. Overall a easy machine to use and to store
As always you can expect good quality goods from bosch. Only reason for 4* is whilst the patio cleaner is a super de-luxe with red knob, it would have been nice to have a note or sticker explaining what its function is. i do still have a working 100 auatak but it has wondered to son's house and got stuck there
Seems to be a powerful lightweight pressure washer. Easy to set up and use.
Delivery prompt with well packed product. attachments have been given much thought and are easy to fit and work well. i am pleased with it at present and it will be interesting to see how long performance is maintained.
The washer itself seems fine, but the lance is rubbish. The fast fit hoses are not up to much, now I have owned it for 2 years the o rings have to be replaced. You have to replace all the o rings as you are not able to see the one that is damaged or worn because once you have removed the plastic casings the whole internals fall apart and you are not able to test it, that's if you are able to take on such a job, or you buy a new lance at £130 which cost more than the power washer in the first place
Customer Questions & Answers
Q : How does the water feed fit to the machine
A : I can confirm that you would connect a standard garden hosepipe with a standard quick coupling connector such as Gardena Classic Hose Reel Connection Set
