Nice device: i'm surprised no-one else seems to do anything similar. i can't comment on it's accuracy, but it has already detected some thermal bridges in my property. it could do with more detailed setup instructions especially regarding the emissivity of different materials, which you need to know to measure accurately.
The bosch ptd1 appears to be well made and does what i expected. Once you have got used to the rather technical instructions, it is very easy to use and useful for checking temperatures around the house. It will find cold spots which can then be improved. The damp detection is also very useful and the one metre reach allows you to check ceilings without a stepladder. A good tool.
