To be honest, I bought a DeWalt mower almost solely because I already had several batteries (for other DeWalt tools), but have been pleasantly surprised by its capability. Without getting into the optional extras, the mower gives a standard range of features (height adjustment, mulching, etc.) which will be fine for probably the majority of situations. Probabaly one thing that could be improved is the basket capacity, which seems a little on the small side. Performance is good, in that the mower is reasonably quiet (certainly quieter than my old petrol mower) and it seems able to handle slightly damp grass. So far, there is no evidence of "tugging" clumps of grass, which my previous mower would do from time-to-time. Performance in terms of the battery life is difficult to be certain about, in that the mower has only been used a few times so far but battery life seems to be slightly longer with each use, so there may be an element of bedding-in involved. Also, I fitted the mower with two 9Ah batteries, rather than the standard 5Ah, but even on the first use there was just enough power to cut approx. 140m2 of lawn. Overall, I am happy with the mower.

Excellent solid product. I use the mulched attachment as I don’t want to collect the grass cuttings, it cuts excellent without leaving any clumps of grass behind. Easy to use features Very easy to put together and light weight. Battery life could do with improving, but I always make sure I have another two on charge when they run out. Overall 4/5 stars

Excellent product runs off existing DeWalt XR Batteries and is a well engineered and built lawn mower.

Great item which lives up to description. The Price is high compared to other similar products but I am confident in the Dewalt brand and the batteries are compatible with other tools. There are some parts of the component that are perhaps a bit fragile for heavy duty use but should not be an issue if used correctly and not abused.

I already had some big 18/54V XR extreme (2 x 9ah and 1 x 6ah) batteries, so wanted to be able to use them to level-up my older electric cordless mower. It's now a dream doing lawns. Whereas before I would have needed 1.5 charges and about 10 grass-catcher empties to do my house, I now use 1/3 of a charge with 2 empties and less than half the time. The extra weight and size means you get nice stripes too. Great purchase - expensive but worth it (if you have a big garden and the batteries invested in).
