DeWalt DCS377 18v XR Cordless Brushless Compact Bandsaw
Part of the DeWalt 18v XR Sub Compact range, the DCS377 is a lightweight and supremely portable cordless bandsaw which runs on any standard Dewalt 18v or Flexvolt XR battery. Ideal for cutting a wide range of materials, including Unistrut, threaded rod, angle iron, rebar, armoured cable, conduit and pipes, the DCS377 has a variable speed dial to ensure optimum cutting performance depending on the application. Additional benefits include an ergonomic rubber overmoulded handle which can be used comfortably in one hand, an integrated LED worklight, brushless motor, retractable hanging hook and large metal clips which ensure the blade is clamped securely in place while the machine is in use but can be easily accessed when required.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
