Each valve or controller can be programmed with up to six watering cycles per day, with durations adjustable from one minute to 9 hours 59 minutes. Watering days can be selected individually, providing complete flexibility for different plant areas with specific irrigation needs.

The system operates on a single 9V alkaline battery (6LR61, not included), eliminating the need for mains power or cabling between the programming unit and valves. Data is transferred wirelessly after connection by simply pressing a button, making installation straightforward even across extensive grounds. Any number of Gardena 9V irrigation valves or controllers can be connected to a single programming unit, allowing the system to expand as requirements grow.
