Lighting performance and projection is exceptional initially but dims down (after approx 1 hour of use, at different intensity levels). Eats batteries at a prodigious rate so rechargeables advised (try hybrio). I use the torch for walking my dogs and the end cap switch is problematic especially if I have leads in one hand. A pretty pointless belt pouch is included for wannabe SAS types. Build quality is extremely good (although mine did not work,out of the box and I had to clean up the terminals). So many cree led torches around now it is difficult to justify 50gbp on build quality alone but I have to say I do like the torch and I don't regret buying it.
