This is the bare unit configuration of the Makita DLM538 Twin 18v LXT Cordless Lawnmower, supplied without batteries or charger. Ideal for those who already own Makita LXT 18v batteries, this option provides excellent value whilst maintaining all the professional features of the DLM538 platform.
With its 534mm cutting diameter and 70-litre collection capacity, this bare unit delivers the same powerful performance as the complete kit, reaching 3,000 rpm for efficient grass cutting. The electric brake ensures instant blade stopping for safety, whilst the soft start function provides smooth operation. Ten cutting height adjustments between 20-100mm allow precise lawn finishing, and the foldable handle design ensures convenient storage.
Supplied complete with blade, mulching plug, wrench and rod, this bare unit is ready to accept your existing Makita 18v LXT batteries. The IPX4 water resistant construction and water resistant cutting deck ensure reliable performance in various weather conditions, making it a practical choice for established Makita tool users.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
