Makita DLS110 Twin 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Mitre Saw 260mm
The Makita DLS110 is a professional 260mm cordless slide compound mitre saw that delivers mains-powered performance from two 18V LXT batteries. Engineered for demanding site and workshop applications, this brushless machine is based on the proven LS1019 corded model, offering tradespeople complete freedom from extension leads without compromising on cutting power.
The twin 18V battery system combines to deliver 36V of cutting power through an efficient brushless motor, maintaining a no-load speed of 4400 RPM for clean, precise cuts. With a generous mitre range of 60° left and right, and bevel capacity of 48° in both directions, this slide compound mitre saw handles complex angles with ease. The one-touch sliding lock enables quick transitions between different cutting positions, whilst the electric brake and soft start function enhance both safety and control during operation.
Supplied complete with a 260mm TCT blade, dust bag, vertical vice and material supports, the DLS110 is ready for immediate use on site. The dust extraction port connects directly to vacuum systems for cleaner working environments. This body-only machine requires two 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries and a compatible charger, sold separately, making it an ideal addition to existing Makita LXT tool collections.

The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
