Makita DML805 18v LXT Cordless LED Work Light
The Makita DML805 is a versatile 20 LED floodlight engineered for professional tradespeople who demand reliable illumination in challenging environments. This dual-power work light operates from either mains corded power or Makita 14.4V/18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries (sold separately), providing flexibility across jobsites with or without power access.
Featuring Makita's XPT Extreme Protection Technology, the DML805 delivers enhanced resistance against dust, liquids and adverse weather conditions when running on DC power. The adjustable flood light angle allows precise positioning of the beam, whilst the integrated handle doubles as a convenient hanging hook for overhead mounting.
The unit can be used as a freestanding floor light or mounted on the optional tripod (model GM00001381, sold separately). A vice clamp accessory is also available for attaching the light to pipes, scaffolding or studwork, making it highly adaptable to various work scenarios.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
