Makita DTW450 18v LXT Cordless 1/2" Drive Impact Wrench
This is the body-only version of the Makita DTW450, ideal for tradespeople who already own Makita 18V LXT batteries and chargers. This configuration offers maximum value by allowing you to expand your tool collection without duplicating accessories you already have.
The DTW450 delivers professional impact wrench performance with 440Nm of fastening torque and 2200 impacts per minute, making light work of wheel nuts, structural bolts and heavy-duty fastening applications. The compact design ensures excellent manoeuvrability in confined spaces whilst the 4-pole motor provides reliable power delivery.
The LED job light with afterglow illuminates your work area even after releasing the trigger, whilst high comfort grips reduce hand fatigue during prolonged use. The forward and reverse rocker switch trigger allows for intuitive operation, and the shock-absorbing battery housing protects your investment.

Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
