Makita DTW701 18v LXT Cordless Brushless 1/2" Drive Impact Wrench
The Makita DTW701 is a professional-grade cordless impact wrench designed for demanding fastening applications. Part of the renowned LXT range, this 18V brushless tool delivers exceptional performance with a powerful 1,000 Nm nut busting torque and 700 Nm maximum fastening torque, making it ideal for heavy-duty automotive, construction, and industrial work.
The brushless motor technology ensures superior efficiency, longer runtime, and extended tool life compared to conventional brushed motors. Its 1/2" square drive with pin detent provides secure socket retention, whilst the four-stage electronic impact power selection allows precise control for different applications. The variable speed trigger offers additional control, and can be switched to full speed mode for faster operation with shorter trigger travel.
This impact wrench features an ergonomic soft grip for comfortable handling during extended use, whilst remaining compact and lightweight for reduced operator fatigue. Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
