The Makita MR003GZ01 is a versatile job site radio designed to deliver high-quality DAB/DAB+ digital radio reception in demanding trade environments. This radio offers exceptional flexibility with compatibility across Makita's entire battery range, accepting 12V CXT, 14.4V/18V LXT, and 40V XGT batteries. With a fully charged 40V XGT 4.0Ah battery, it delivers up to 34 hours of runtime, ensuring uninterrupted entertainment throughout the working day. Alternatively, the included AC adaptor provides mains-powered operation for workshop or indoor use.
The dual 89mm speaker stereo system provides clear sound quality with practical outputs ranging from 1.7W per channel on 12V batteries up to 4.9W per channel on 18V and 40V batteries. The easy-to-read LCD digital tuner with illuminated control buttons and dial ensures visibility in low-light conditions, while the carry handle incorporates a built-in FM antenna for improved reception. Protective elastomer bumpers and metal pipe construction guard against accidental knocks and drops on busy job sites.
