Really handy to be able to use cordless for quick jobs and just get the cable out for longer jobs.

As previous, the spools are so badly wound that there's a 'knot' about 40% into the product that prevents the spool feeding out further line. This means wasting a fairly expensive spool of strimmer line after about half the product has been used. I have looked for alternative non-Ryobi refills but can't find any. PLEASE GET RYOBI TO RECTIFY THEIR PRODUCT. IT SEEMS TO APPLY TO ABOUT 70% OF THE SPOOLS I'VE USED. SPOILS A GOOD STRIMMER, AND MAKES USING IT VERY FRUSTRATING.

These ryobi spools of strimmer line don't feed out properly. after a very brief cutting time a new spool ceases to unwind properly; if the cap over the spool is removed and the line re-threaded it will again work for a very brief period . i've now had seven spools and none have worked properly and been fully used. the spools ruin an otherwise convenient and useful product --- it really needs sorting. my complaint is alleged to be the only one made about this problem: just a thought, is the strimmer itself faulty ???? (it doesn't appear to be, though the cap over the spool is difficult to remove.)
