Q : Is this coat properly waterproof?
A : The Waterproof rating quoted (3000mm) means that in test conditions it can withstand water to a depth of 3000mm inside a tube before it starts to leak. What this translates to in everyday usage is that it should keep off light rain without any issue but heavier rain will eventually start to seep through.
