The only downsides i could see were it smells quite bad and its very heavy. i store it in an outside shed with good ventilation. the weight has to be lived with as it is a heavy duty product and should last indefinitely. in use it was really good and when in the recent bad weather we were getting scared about flooding,connected to the pump we bought at the same time it cleared the threat realy quick.Good buy.

This hose enabled an enormous of water to be pumped away very quickly.I found the weight of the hose(i bought 50 mts) a bit of a problem when rolling it up after use but i will resolve this by making some sort of drum to put it on. an earlier reviewer mentioned that the hose had a strong chemical smell which it does so you need to store it somewhere well ventilated. in spite of these points i'm very pleased with this purchase and tooled up service.

Seems to work well, but it really does have a very strong chemical smell. don't plan on storing it anywhere you plan to stay.

Mildly disappointed that despite being "heavy duty" the hose still managed to slightly split after just three uses. Not a major split, but still a split.........
