This is fantastic value for money. when open at 90º, the lid slots down so that it stays open which is a great feature. However, should you forget to lift up the lid before attempting to close it, then the hinge will bend knocking the lid out of alignment. In fact it bends very easily which is why i've not given 5 for build quality. having also bought a big brand jerry can, i can confirm that that the only difference is that this doesn't have the brand name embossed into it — bargain!!
