Stanley Heavy Duty Bench Vice

A good sturdy vice, does what it says on the tin. The only issue i have had so far has been when i extend it to it's full opening it can take a bit of "wiggling" to get it back on the thread again so you can close it. Otherwise very satisfied.

I bought this as a present for my husband. It was substantially more sturdy than expected and he was very pleased with it. the delivery service was very good too.

Seems to be a very robust vice. Quite a ingenious pipe clamp just below the jaws that i havent used yet but looks useful. Jaws open wide enough to change u/j's on a land rover propshaft. The base bolts to bench in an odd configuration, but seems sturdy enough.

I am so very impressed with this vice. It is extremely well built and seems enormously strong compared to others i looked at. The jaws are precise and there's no slack in the mechanism.

I bought this item for my husband he is very pleased with it but so far he has not used it. It seems a very sturdy item and we hope for success with it. The service you gave was excellent and the price for this item was very reasonable.

Great service from tooled-up but this was the second vice from stanley that i have tried and they both had bad side-to-side play in the moveable jaw. I contacted stanley direct - they agreed that the vice was faulty and sent me a replacement which is slightly different and a lot better.
