Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Q : Can you put the charger on the wall to charge the Hoover ? The same way you do with a Dyson
A : Hi Jacqueline, the battery has to be removed from the BHFEV362DP in order to charge it, so you can't attach the whole vacuum cleaner to the charger if that's what you mean? It uses an interchangeable 36v battery which can be used in several other Black & Decker 36v tools and the chargers for these batteries are really only intended to be used freestanding (kept on a tabletop or shelf for example) - you can see an example of one on our website: product code 21004464

This product carries a full 2 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design.
