Dustbuster is ok. It is very selective about what it wants to pick up on a carpet, but works fine on wooden floors.

Q : I have recently purchased a used Black and Decker NVB215W 7.2v cordless Dustbuster with lithium batteries... the charger supplied with the item has a DC output of 15v 1.5mA. Can you please confirm (or otherwise) that this is OK...I thought the voltage was a bit high?? I know that I did not purchase this item from you but would really appreciate an answer from a company that knows Black and Decker products inside out! Thanking you in anticipation, Mike Partridge
A : Hi Mike, the NVB215W is not something we stock any more but I had a look at the user manual online - they say that for the "NBV215W" (which I believe is a spelling mistake!) the charger should be part number 9062787, Output Voltage 15v, Current 150mA. Therefore it sounds like you might have the original charger but if you suspect otherwise it might be safer to contact Black & Decker and see if they're able to supply the correct charger as a spare part, which they should be able to do in most cases.
