Q : Can you include information about: - the product name uses ".. Sanding Sheets" in the plural which suggests that this is a pack of more than one sheet. Please clarify. -
A : Good morning, Each pack contains 5 sanding sheets.
Q : What are the dimensions of these sheets? I have a Performance Power PTSS135C and find it difficult to find punched sanding sheets that will fit as they need to be long enough to fit under the clamps. Sheet that came with the sander measures approx. 93mm by 237mm.
A : Hi Hazel, if you select what grit and pack size you require from the menu it will show you the specifications in the description, although in this case it's probably the same as most of the others you've found: 93 mm x 230 mm, which is more or less the standard size for 1/3 sanding sheets. I can't find anything we stock with the same dimensions unfortunately but you might be interested in the Bosch mesh net sanding rolls we stock on product ID 21018171? Bit more of a premium product than most standard sanding sheets but the beauty of it is it's the right width (93mm) and you can cut off exactly how much you need, plus the mesh means you don't need to worry about punching holes or getting holes in the right place as the dust gets sucked straight through it.
Q : Do the sandpaper fit black and decker KA175 please
A : Hi Samantha, yes - these sanding sheets are suitable for the Black & Decker KA175 1/3 sheet orbital sander
Q : Do these sandpaper pads fit a B & D sander model KA197? The pads need to have a Velcro type backing to attach to the sander. Thanks Linda
A : Hi Linda, I'm afraid these sanding sheets have a plain paper backing though from what I can see it seems like the KA197 had clips on it which enabled you to attach a standard 1/3 sheet of sandpaper? (It could be they changed the design or these have become damaged over time of course) - if you are looking for a hook & loop alternative the Bosch mesh sheets we stock on product ID 21018168 may do the job? The have hook & loop backing for sticking straight on to a sanding pad and their open mesh design means they can be used with the dust extraction holes on any sander, so you don't have to worry about finding the right pattern and lining the holes up.
