Bosch AKE 35-19S Electric Chainsaw 350mm

We all know the stigma petrol v electric. Though not a regular user, what with the petrol/oil mix,pull-pull starting,& noise. I decided the electric version has to be a consideration. Researched all the reviews and finally went for the bosch 1900w. Nobody could have benn more sceptic, but i have to say as long as the chain is sharp you will have no problem with this model. A 12inch diameter apple tree was no match, first time 'everytime' on the button. Absolutely delighted with it.

This chain has performed very well on cutting both soft wood trees and hard oak ones and so represents good value for money.

Excellent light balanced quiet chain saw. very powerful cutting easily through tree trunks wider than the blade length. Very manageable tool for efficient cutting of branches into suitable lengths for splitting. only slight negativity was the blocking of waste through the plastic cover. the plastic cover is of light manufacture and thinner parts are do crack/break of but do not impair its use. good safety features and easily set up tension of chain. Would recommend.

Easier to use than previous black & decker. Impressive. Saved £150 bill quoted by tree surgeon. Recommended.

Excellent tool surprised me how easy it cut without a struggle when i cut up a large tree in my garden,as with all bosch tools great build quality.

I bought this chain saw to cut wood up for my wood burning stove. It does the job well it is reasonably quiet and light to use .
