Bosch D-Tect 120 Professional Digital Detector

The D-Tect 120 Detector can be powered either by a Bosch Professional 10.8v or 12v lithium ion power tool battery, or by standard AA batteries in conjunction with a battery adaptor (not included).

Bosch-patented radar technology allows the D-tect 120 wall scanner to detect all object types, including water-filled PVC pipes and cables up to 60 mm deep, and magnetic and non-magnetic metal at depths of up to 120 mm. Choose from one of 3 detection settings depending on wall type—Drywall, Concrete, or Universal mode if the material is unknown. The D-tect 120 is an all-around stud detector, metal detector, cable finder, and pipe detector for walls.

With spot view, the stud detector starts detecting objects as soon as it‘s placed on the wall. If an object is found, the LED light turns red. If not object is found, the search icon appears and the LED turns yellow, indicating that the user should move the pipe detector along the wall to scan for objects. A green light indicates no object is detected.

Arrows and a signal strength indicator guide users toward the object and also allow users to follow an object, such as a cable, along a wall. The center finder indicator shows a center cross when the detector has located the object’s center.
For added flexibility, the stud detector can be used with either a 12v Li-ion battery or standard AA batteries using the additionally available battery adapter.
