Bosch S1111K Wood Cutting Reciprocating Sabre Saw Blades

This blade is recommended by Bosch as suitable for all kinds wood free of nails. I found it perfectly adequate cutting green wood branches, but not as quick as blades with deeper teeth. Where this blade came into its own was in completing a rip cut (along the grain) started by a circular saw in thick timber: used a circular saw to partially cut through a 150mm thick oak slab to the maximum depth of 100mm of the circular saw, and was then able to easily and quickly complete the last 50mm of the cut just pushing the reciprating blade along the line of circular saw cut - much easier and more reliable than trying to put in a second cut with the circular saw from the other side. This was the one reciproating blade that didn't have a tendency to wander off line.

I’ve been using the s1111k blades and they are very good for green wood. I can recommend them. The Bosch recip saw and these blades go through thick laurel branches like a hot knife through butter.
