I got these mainly for model-making, cutting parts from sprues, and some electronics. Am delighted with them, being able to cut very close and very cleanly on small kit parts. Grips have a nice feel too. The cutting blades are aligned and ground/polished to meet perfectly. Maximum separation of the blade tips is just over 3mm which is more than enough for normal precision use.
