Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Q : How do you attach a shoulder strap to a cordless dewalt 18v xr DCM561 PBS? WHAT IS THE DIAMETER OR SIZE OF THE SHAFT/TUBE/ LOBG HANDLE TO GET THE RIGHT BRACKET?
A : Hi Giuseppina, I'm afraid we don't currently have any of these in stock though DeWalt may be able to confirm the diameter of the shaft if you try contacting them. However, I think you should be able to attach a universal harness like the one we stock on product ID 20988178 without too much trouble.
Q : Can I use the batteries from my de walt drill I bought recently? 4 Ah XR
A : Hi George, yes - as long as your batteries are from the DeWalt 18v XR or 54v Flexvolt XR system then they will be compatible with the DCM561S (the only other current DeWalt cordless platform is the 12v range but I don't think they make a 4ah battery for that so I'm sure you're all good)
Q : Hi if this tool is registered online with Dewalt does it come with a 3 year warranty?
A : I can confirm to claim the full 3-year warranty you will need to register your tool on the MyDewalt Website.
Q : Can you fit a brush cutter to this strimmer?
A : Following a conversation with our technical team, it appears the split in the shaft is for portability and storage purposes and would not give compatibility with split shaft accessories
Q : What is the weight of machine with battery in place?
A : I can confirm that without the battery this item has a weight of 3.64kg and the batteries hold the following weights. 1.3 & 1.5ah = 0.35kg, 2ah = 0.62kg, 3ah = 0.64ah, 4ah = 0.61kg, 5ah = 0.62kg

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
