A useful unit, but has its flaws. i've been running this light for a year now, and the rechargeable battery is still holding a charge well enough. expect 1.5 hours from a full usb charge (not very long) - longer on 'flash' mode. the fixings (cable ties and rubber bands) mean this unit is not readily changeable between bikes at all. this unit is not bright enough by itself for cycling on unlit roads. the wind up feature is only useful for emergencies...I've only ever managed about 10 minutes of decent brightness from a 10 minute wind! would be better if you could have a switch allowing just the rear lights to flash...I like to have a rear flasher in the day time. overall, useful for short commutes only in lit streets. Don't buy if your bike has to live outside - the wiring and rear are permanently fixed to the bike, and are awfully thievable!

These are a brilliant idea. Much better than having to buy batteries all the time, and never being sure if they'll run down mid journey. And a lot better than those dynamo lights with the dynamo that presses against the tyre which feels like the bike is always in top gear.

A great product, however it would be helpful if the wire was longer between the front and the back light.
