ok so far !
Worked properly on first use
If you're looking for a soldering iron that is more suitable for attaching earth wires to solid metal, such as the backs of pots, or unsoldering small metal casings (ie the covers on guitar pickups) this iron is a bargain. Burning out just one pot or push/pull switch trying to do the job with a 30w could cost you the same money - and you still wouldn't own the iron.
This item arrived within a couple of days and works perfectly. All at a very modest cost. You can't get better than that !
This is a generic iron found under a number of manufacturer names. At this price you can't go wrong. I use them in building etch brass locomotives kits and they last in the region of 9 months. They are a throw away item and i always have a spare in stock
