Such a brilliant tool. I wasn't aware it existed but then I saw a gardener using the sharpening tool and asked him where he got it from. I've been looking for so long to find a tool to sharpen my secateurs. Simple but so effective

This sharpener is a high quality item (as you would expect from Felco) that looks like it will last for years. The steel bar is slim, but very rigid, and well shaped to enable sharpening in awkward places eg I use it on the traditional one-piece "sheep shearing" type of garden shears that are impossible to sharpen properly with an ordinary shapening stone. The diamond coating is very fine - it hardly feels abrasive at all to the fingers - so it would not be suitable for rough sharpening of very blunt edges but it is extremely good for restoring sharpness to tools in good condition. It seemed a little expensive before I used it but now seems good value.
