Flymo SCIROCCO 3000 Garden Vacuum and Leaf Blower

Bought this product to replace an older flymo garden vac this product I feel has more suction power but does not blow nearly as well as the old one

Looks the part and has the right specification, but blow/suction power feeble. Might be OK for very dry, small leaves but not much else.

Excellent for hoovering leaves atc. - but absolutely crap for blowing or 'sweeping' - my 92 year old mother has more puff! Very disappointed, good thing i still have my old ( 8 years)garden vac to do the blowing with.

Updated - as a garden vacuum this machine works well; i had problems with the blower, the machine i was shipped was presumably a return because the blower was blocked with leaves, i cleared the blockage and it was much better. Reliability gets the benefit of the doubt but mine arrived with a blown fuse. Build quality scores low because it simply isn’t built that well compared to past experience of flymo. The plastic mouldings do not quite line up, the neck of the bag doesn’t quite fit around the neck of the frame it is supposed to have been designed to fit. I haven’t returned it because i simply cant be bothered but also given the mixed experiences of others with other machines i don't expect any in this price range to be any better than the flymo.

As a garden vacuum this machine works well; as a leaf blower it sucks; you would be better off with a bike pump! i got it for a good price, features and performance are scored low because it simply doesn’t blow, it's hopeless.
