Borrowed my sons handy log splitter as i did not have my own. Good bit of kit. Works very well with no trouble splitting the logs we have put to it. It is so easy i am now going to purchase my own. takes all the effort out of splitting logs by hand. (axe)

the design of the pushing block is dangerous not all logs are flush the lenth of travel of the ram needs to be increase by about two iches it has split about twenty tons of wood oak ash beech apple ihave only had to resort to the chain saw five times good bit of kit

I was initially disappointed with the apparent light construction of the stand - but that was false - it is perfectly fine once it is all connected an in operation. the log-splitter works really well - wish i'd bought one years ago! it looks like it will work well forever - we'll see. it would be better if the wheels were bigger so that the unit could be moved around the garden. the wheels are only good for moving the unit around the garage. these comments are not meant to deter from the use and value of a great product.

I previously purchased a manual smart splitter from tooled-up.Com, i think that it is excellent value for money and still works well. The handy 6 tonne is a great piece of equipment and is doing everything i expect of it. Well built and easy to use.

This is the second one ive bought if you put the splitting axe on the pusher it will cut anything you put to it great bit of kit by the way still use first one at my holyday home and its cut about 30 cords and still going strong
