Makita DTW1002 18v LXT Cordless Brushless 1/2" Drive Impact Wrench
The Makita DTW1002 is a professional 1/2" drive high torque cordless impact wrench powered by an 18v lithium-ion battery from the Makita LXT range. Available as a bare unit or in a complete kit with batteries, charger and case.
Delivering up to 1,000Nm of turning force for tightening applications, the DTW1002 is also highly effective at loosening, generating impressive nut busting torque of 1,600Nm in reverse rotation mode. The tool features three impact power modes for selecting between hard, medium and soft applications as required, while the variable speed trigger and electric brake provide optimum precision and control.
For maximum efficiency and lifetime, the DTW1002 is equipped with a brushless motor which ensures longer runtimes and increased reliability due to the lack of friction and wear on internal components. The compact, lightweight design with ergonomic handle and twin LED job light makes this impact wrench ideal for automotive, construction and heavy-duty fastening applications.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.
