The Makita DUM604Z is supplied as a bare tool without battery or charger, making it the ideal choice for those already invested in the Makita 18v LXT system. This configuration allows you to use existing batteries and chargers from your current Makita tools, avoiding unnecessary duplication and providing excellent value.
This compact garden shear delivers 2,500 strokes per minute through its double blade action, ensuring clean, precise cuts across grass, hedges and shrubs. The tool features three adjustable cutting heights (15, 20, 25mm) and includes both grass and hedge trimmer blades for maximum versatility. Tool-free blade changes mean you can switch between applications quickly without additional equipment.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
