This is the body-only configuration of the Makita PB002G 40v Max XGT portable band saw, ideal for professionals who already own XGT batteries and chargers within their existing tool fleet. This option provides excellent value whilst maintaining the full performance capability of Makita's advanced cordless band saw technology.
Supplied with a band saw blade and hex wrench, this variant is ready for immediate use once you insert your compatible 40v XGT battery. The body-only format allows you to expand your cordless tool collection without investing in duplicate batteries and chargers, making it a cost-effective choice for contractors already committed to the Makita XGT platform.
With its brushless motor, variable speed control, and twin LED work lights, this variant delivers professional cutting performance for steel pipes up to 127mm diameter or 127 x 127mm square section.

Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
