Ryobi OBV18 ONE+ 18v Cordless Brushless Garden Vacuum and Leaf Blower
There are three main types of leaf blowers – Petrol, corded electric and cordless electric. As a general rule, Petrol blowers offer the most power at the expense of being heavier and noisier and than their electric counterparts, and typically come at a higher price.
Electric blowers are much quieter and more suitable for residential areas, and are usually powered by either lithium ion battery packs, or mains electricity.
Corded variants are cheaper to manufacture as they don’t require batteries or chargers, though their obvious limitation is the length of cord they are attached to.
Cordless variants offer much more freedom, though the amount of time they can be used for is dependent on the charge in their batteries. Higher amp-hour (ah) batteries will offer the most runtime, while higher voltage machines will provide more power.
Leaf blowers can also be effective at clearing snow, dust and dirt; however please bear in mind they are not designed to shift piles of wet leaves and much better results can be obtained by waiting for these to dry out first.

Overall a decent machine but just lacking in power when blowing / vacuuming wet leaves. But still great value for money, I’m very happy with mine.
Tooled-up sent this over to me in jersey Channel Islands arrived on time , brilliant service
Clearly not the strongest of the vacuum/blower devices out there in comparison to petrol models but for pickup duty this does work well enough for grass, small tufts of weeds, light twigs and so forth. The mulching performance on items sucked up is good, deposited into a moderate sized collection bag - not huge which is actually a good thing as otherwise you end up lugging a heavy weight around. When switched into blower mode it is also well below the output of petrol models but does move leaves and grass clippings with relative ease. The battery life seems to be quite short even when using a 4Ah battery so enough for a small to medium garden but don’t expect to clear a large garden on a single charge. Functionality is good with wheels at the lower end of the pickup/blower section which helps to keep the nozzles off the ground for better performance and efficiency. The trigger can be locked into the on position with a manual boost button for extra power and the bag is easy to detach for emptying. As with many of these battery powered items it at first glance and use seems sturdy but over a few uses it does lack the real sturdiness of higher-end products so along with slightly below par performance it lost a few stars for value, performance and build quality.
Does exactly what you want it to do. Very good on leaves, not so good on twigs or stems. Full power, until, suddenly, no power at all when battery empty... Would recommend.
Very good, quick service and delivery. Product is fine, does the job ok and not too big a battery drain.
This tool does not doing anything, do not blow or suck up any leaves. Not powerful at all. I sent an email how to give it back and been told to call Ryobi! I did not bought it from them, but you!

Q : Can your ryobi leaf blower/vacuum be shipped to the us
A : Hi Lenoa, I'm afraid we can't ship this product to the US
Q : Price of battery and charger?
A : Please see the "Accessories for this Product" column on the right of the product page which shows all the compatible Ryobi 18v batteries and chargers. Note that you also have to select which version of this product you want before purchasing and two of these options include batteries and chargers
Q : How effective is this in removing leaves from gravel? Does it simply shift the leaves or does it collect masses of your gravel path as well?
A : Hi there, this model has a variable speed control so in theory you should be able to fine tune it to deliver optimum power for shifting leaves without disturbing the gravel, but how successful this will be depends on how fine the gravel is, the size of the leaves etc
Q : How many Watts is this?
A : Due to this product being battery operated watts are not given in the description, I can confirm that this is 18V machine with a 201km/h air flow speed.
