Q : Good morning, I have noticed that Ryobi have been releasing a new range of tools including a new SDS+ drill which looks like the R18SDS7 which is on your website. Are you getting this and other items from the new range in or is Ryobi limiting selling them direct and not through a third party? Yours sincerely Richard Hughes.
A : Hi Richard, I'm afraid we're not able to supply any of the tools from the new Ryobi range and we're only able to offer what's in stock on our website. As you say, based on availability online it looks they might only be selling them direct rather than through retailers.
Q : Have you had any new information about the release date of this drill yet.? Can you give an indication of price yet please?
A : I'm afraid we have no further information on this drill and at this stage I couldn't say if Ryobi plan to release it in the future or not. They've since removed all reference to it from their catalogue so it's definitely been shelved for the time being - with that in mind it's probably worth considering alternatives if you have a job that needs doing any time soon.
Q : Hello I want to know if by any chance this product will .are it to the USA i just got in to the ryobi platform and im very impressed with the platform so far and want to expand my collection
A : Hi Carlos, I'm afraid we can't ship to the US, and in fact we can't ship this drill anywhere at the moment as it has been delisted and is no longer available for purchase. I'm not sure if there are plans to release it in the future but if you contact Ryobi in the US they may be able to advise further?
Q : Good afternoon, I have been keeping a lookout for the new Ryobi sds7 and have noticed that it is showing "not available ". Have Ryobi given a reason as to why?
A : Hi Richard, there has been a lot of interest in this machine but it never seems to have made it to the shipping stage. I suspect this is to do with the supply chain drying up during the international lockdown and a shortage of available parts - strangely enough there was also a Black & Decker cordless SDS drill announced around the same time (product ID 21027091) which appeared to have been discontinued but we've suddenly received stock, so it could be the same will happen with this drill at some point.
Q : Hi what is the kj energy rating of this
A : Hi Mick, unfortunately we don't have much in the way of specifications to go by at this stage as it's a new product and Ryobi haven't yet published them (plus we're still waiting for the first batch of stock to come in)
Q : Hi. You are the only company I have found advertising this product. It is not even currently available in America or Australia. When will it be available to purchase in the UK?
A : Hi David, we're still awaiting confirmation on availability but I suspect current events have delayed it slightly as much of the supply chain is having difficulty keeping up with demand at the moment. Once we have had an from Ryobi the ETA should start to show on the website. (but yes, for some strange reason we seem to be able to get many Ryobi tools here in the UK before they're available in America)

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables.
