This sealey sump plug remover is fitted with a very long flexible rod/cable, and includes a very strong secured magnet at its end. Once you've slackened the sump plug the magnet is attached and the cable rotated to release the final threads. At this point normally you'd have your fingers coated in hot oil, with a huge potential for dropping the sump plug in your drain pan. Using this tool your hands are well away from harm and the sump plug captive ready for cleaning. A definite winner!
