The Stanley FatMax V20 18v Cordless Earth Auger Drill is supplied as standard with a 76mm diameter auger drill bit which can bore holes down to a depth of 155mm. The drill is also compatible with other accessories, including a weeding attachment which is available separately from Stanley. As part of the Stanley FatMax V20 system, this drill shares battery compatibility with other FatMax landscaping tools as well as a complete family of cordless power tools which are suitable for profesional working environments or for the home and garden user.

Lightweight and portable, this tool helps make light work of forming perfectly dimensioned holes in the ground, e.g for installing small posts or for putting in plants like young bushes and shrubs. The auger bit channels the removed earth straight back up to the surface as it bores down, leaving a clean and precise hole. The auxiliary handle allows for a firm grip on the tool and can be screwed in to the left or right hand side of the machine, allowing for comfortable operation by left or right handed users and also enabling it to fit into tight spaces like corners.
