Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

I have several corded grinders, 240v/110v. So this is just for occasionall use, I run it on the 1.2 AH battery but I have two. Get about 10 mins cutting/grinding from each battery, suits me well enough. But if I was going to use it seriously would get the 4AH Battery, should give about 30 mins life. Down side is it is not a fast charge battery system,. Got this within 48hrs from Tooled-Up at standard delivery, everywhere else charge a fortune for that service, not bad for a 400mile trip ??????

Well, what a waste of time and money that was. Works like something you get in a lucky- bag (if any one remembers those!) Paul smith above summed it up below. stay away. My only curiosity is what did those who gave it a good review get in return. ? Spend £30 quid more and get something that works

To cut 6mm mild steel rod this thing was a fail Made it through seven, but any more was to no avail The time taken to cut the seven rods Was at least four times slower than a hacksaw powered by human bods Returning it was such a chore With the pandemic so much more Since not all branches returns will take A rather long drive I had to make So in the end a work around may be best To ensure ones mental and emotional health remain unstressed Try bolt cutters for sheer speed A hacksaw will surely not impede Using a generator won't make you a dolt Just hook up a grinder on 240 volt So there you have it, the wisdom of a fool For good lords sake don't buy this tool.

it works ok. seems a bit underpowered, although I admit that up till now I have only ever used mains powered angle grinders. I have an almost new 54v battery, which I had hoped would power the angle grinder for a long time. It seemed to flatten this battery very quickly.

I needed a portable grinder so I bought this one as I have a B&D impact driver that works very well and uses the same 18v lithium ion batteries. On first try it continually cut out with very little load (I was trying to cut plastic pipe), would not polish anything without continually stopping. I sent it back and a week later another arrived and it was just the same. I am too old to spend the rest of my life sending things back. I could not recommend anyone buy this grinder.

A : Hi Frank, The BCG720 is not supplied with any discs or similar accessories in the box but we keep a wide variety in stock if you need them.

A : Hi Ali, there are a number of options but once you have chosen batteries, charger etc from the Green drop down menu it will list the included contents in the main description
Q : Is there a dust shroud that goes with 5" grinder
A : Unfortunately looking at the manual, it does not look like there is a dust shroud for this item. However, you may be able to locate a universal shroud that may fit.
