Bosch BITURBO tools are designed especially to work in conjunction with Bosch ProCORE 8ah or 12ah batteries - these high capacity batteries unlock a performance boost that enables these tools to do the same job as their corded counterparts, only without having to run a power cable through to the work area. In the case of the GKS 18V-68 GC, using a suitable ProCORE battery gives you performance equal to that of a 1800 watt corded circular saw, but if maximum performance is not essential it will also run on all standard Bosch Professional 18v lithium ion batteries as well. Likewise Bosch ProCORE batteries are fully compatible with the entire Bosch 18v Professional li-ion cordless power tool range.

The GKS 18V-68 GC is a brushless circular saw which uses 190mm blades and has a baseplate which enables it to slot into the Bosch guiderail system for exceptionally straight and accurate cuts when required.
