Replacing an old planer that was destroyed in a fire this unit so far lives up to my expectations. Easy to use, easy to set up and giving good results.

Build quality is excellent price is right delivery was great, only problem is that i purchased the draper bobbin sander

As is often the case assembly and use instructions leave much to be desired. the planer and thicknesser instructions should be kept strictly separate. e.G. It should be clearly explained that the dust extraction adapter is used for both functions and that it needs to be dismounted and remounted each time you need to swap functions. A somewhat awkward fiddly job. the workpiece guide function is not clearly explained albeit use becomes clear eventually. At first it appears to be a cutter safety guard. table height adjustment knob inadequate i.E too flimsy . Consequently centre sheared on first use. drapers seem unaware of part as they sent wrong knob as a replacement. for the price not bad overall. you get what you pay for.
