Handy sharpening tool for when I’m out on the allotment. The axe sharpener does benefit from finishing with a wet stone to get premium sharpness.
Have 1 of these already bought this for a family member it does what it needs to do. Plus doubles as a knife sharpener.
Seems to sharpen the fiskar axes pretty well, still needs a tiny polish with a stone to get razor sharp, but takes some of the leg work out of it
Have only used it to sharpen fiskar axes, very good. Tried it in other make axes, they do not fit in neatly, and don't sharpen so well. If you have fiskar axes, very much recommend it, easy to use and sharpens wel.
A very versatile and efficient low cost product which allows various effortless garden uses with safety as opposed to using chain saws. very happy with this product and would recommend to anyone.
Easy to swop from knifes to axe sharpening. Only used a couple of times so far and seems to be working ok.
