Q : The details of this trimmer states that the weight is 3.1 kg. Is this excluding the battery or is this the overall weight including the battery? What is the overall weight of this item? Thanks
A : Good morning, 3.1kg is the overall weight including the battery.
Q : Does the battery come charged? The charger has a green light to indicate it is charged but the battery itself has no green lights lit up to indicate a charge. The hedge cutter isn't running. Do you think the battery is faulty?
A : Hi Tina, it's normal for cordless power tools to be shipped with a certain amount of charge in the batteries but there's also a fair bit of variation depending on when and where it was manufactured, how long it's been in storage etc. However, if there are no lights coming up on the battery but the charger indicates it's fully charged, it does seem to imply that there is a fault somewhere (especially as the machine is not running).
