Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Excellent little cleaner
Excellent vacuum. considered a lower voltage model too but decided this ought to be more powerful. i was right! comparing to another unit (14.4v) from a friend this one is more powerful. build quality is first class as i would expect from makita. shame they don't supply a wall mounting bracket but now i'm getting fussy!
The makita bcl180 cordless vacuum cleaner is truly a versatile piece of equipment and is especially for those small hard to reach places without the burden of a full size vacuum cleaner
Only been used a few times but very pleased with the results so far.
