This is a robust little machine that performs as well as a corded machine. I strimmed a standard council (24 X 22 Ft) back garden full of weeds and tough, long grass equipped with only a 1.5 amp hour battery and still had a half charge left. It is lightweight, easy to clean and has all the functions of a much more expensive machine

Very happy with the purchase, only wish I had done it sooner! To be free from cables when strimming is the difference between doing it and not doing it. I would leave it for weeks in the past to avoid getting the extension out. Going wireless turned a 10 minute job into a 5 minute job. Build quality seems solid, auto line feed when it snaps seems to work well. Very happy overall.

The grass trimmer is light weight and easy to use. It is very convenient to grab and go without mains cable, extension cords, etc.

Only used it once but it seems to be well made, light and does away with trailing cables, seems ideal for medium sized garden

Bought as replacement for 3 year old OLT1825 (no M) & works at least as well, is lighter, and for a 'small' battery tool is perfectly effective. Powerful motor eats batteries - you really need a 5AHr battery for an extended session, and a bit more performance. Auto-line feed works well - exactly the same line and spool as the OLT1825 which has been fine for 3 years.

I'm very impressed with the trimmer. I've used this on a few times since purchase, battery life is not really affected much, I have the 5.0Ah batteries, I would say 30min life of constant use.... easily done.... probably more. The trimmer works well and is very effective and comparable to other trimmers I've owned. The cutting line is NOT auto feed, you have to stop every 2 or 3 mins to extend the line, personally I don't like this, if I was using this all the time, it would become a chore and ultimately irritating. Great product for the money, light weight, even with the battery in. Like many other trimmers you can swivel the handle to allow a different cutting angle. As for delivery from Tooled Up, this was ordered one day, arrived earlier than expected the next. Good to see some else being able to do next day deliveries other than Amazon, except in this case it was cheaper. so double like.

This is an easy to use, well balanced strimmer. As it is designed to use the Ryobi One + battery system it is also easy to keep a ready charged battery to hand. The seller was very prompt and efficient in the way my order was dealt with, as were the details of my order delivery progress. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this as I already had the Ryobi One+ batteries from other tools. I was deliberating between this model and the slightly more expensive one, and in the end picked this as it has a higher unloaded RPM, which I figured hopefully translates to better cutting ability, plus I wasn't really bothered about the height and cutting-width adjustments on the other model. I tested it in the back garden, and I'm very pleased. I was worried about the join in the main shaft, but it is very solid once assembled, and it cut almost continuously through 4-5" grass for 15 minutes without running out of juice on a freshly-charged 1.3Ah battery, so the longevity is fine for me. I can see why people complain about the auto-feeding line, but it seems fine if you just keep it running. One slight annoyance is that when you twist the strimmer head around for edging, it isn't vertical in a normal standing position (I'm 6'), so the tendency is to cut inwards when edging, rather than straight down, i.e. the line wants to undercut the grass at the edge, which tends to leave strim marks all down the soil edge of the lawn. I'm sure this improves with practice, but I noticed that the next model up has a variable tilt on the strimmer head, which I guess would mean this isn't an issue. In conclusion: a good value-for-money strimmer for those who already own a One+ battery.
