do not like the buttrefly nuts at the lower handle attachment points. They protrude to far from the main body of the machine.

Fine bit of machinery, does an excellent job and as the blurb says packs what it collects very effectively - the collection box was so packed its moderately heavy and the bits don't just fall out - needs a fair shake to dislodge. I like bosch stuff!

Assembly instructions could be clearer machine does exactly what it says very efficiently. Tines appear to be much stronger than my previous machine (power devil).

I was reading some forums about how to improve my lawn and came across lawn raking. I have a medium size uk lawn so decided to buy an automatic machine to make the task a lot easier. I eventually decided on the bosch. Building the machine was straight forward - attach handles, few clips and that was it. I followed the guides to start from the highest setting (4) and then work down to (2). I cut the lawn on the lowest setting first (1 bag front lawn, 1 bag back lawn). My front lawn has a lot of moss in it, so after going over the lawn 3 times (height 4, then 3, then 2), i ended up with 7 bags of dead grass, moss and thatch - absolutely amazing. The back lawn was about 4 bags but then it has a lot less moss and rubbish. One area i was worried about was a review that said the tines broke easily. I can assure you that's rubbish. I have a large oak tree which drops twigs and acorns like no tomorrow. The bosch picked all this up no problem and even when it hit some stones didn't have any problems. The machine gets dirty fairly quickly due to the debris it picks up so i just blowed off at the end with a compressor. I believe that "tining" shouldn't be done regularily so not a problem. So overall, really pleased. Good solid machine.

Good value machine which is a significant improvement on previous lawnrakers i have used. Generous 50 litre collection box means you don't have to empty it every 2 minutes. 4 settings useful to ensure you don't rip the lawn up on first use and can build up gradually to full on lawnraking action. Build quality looks reasonably good. I would recommend this product.

Most impressed by this lawn raker, especially compared to the qualcast rubbish i had before. Power is king when it comes to lawnraking as my last two machines have burned out under normal working conditions. Great service from tooled-up.
