Garden Shredders Important Information
The capacity of Garden Shredders is affected by a number of factors and will be reduced from the stated figures in some instances. Green wood with high moisture content, wet wood, especially hard wood can all cause the shredder to struggle to shred efficiently. Never shred wood that has a diameter larger than the stated figures and in instances as above shred only smaller diameters. Allow sufficient time to cool the motor when shredding large amounts in order to avoid burnout.

I replaced my previous model of the same specifications. I like its weight and versatility. Good length lead. Feeding could be improved as it only works at its best when fed towards the rear from above.
This is a nice compact shredder that does the job I need it to. I have jammed it a few times, but found it fairly easy to clear. Bag is extra though - you probably don't need to get the one designed to go with it, though this is a pretty decent product.
Put through 6 hours of graft before blade went blunt. Fortunately the blade can be turned over and we were able to continue to finish the task we needed. Liked the safety, this includes the safety of the blade and accessibility to clear it when it gets blocked.

The Bosch AXT 2200 Shredder has proved to be a great purchase. Used it several times and it does exactly what it was designed for. Would recommend.
used it a few times now - snazzy piece of kit - within its limits as to size of branches it can cope with (clearly evidenced on advert and delivered box/explanations). Good size & quality. Really chunks the branches into lovely mulch. Not bad delivery or managing expectations thereof in these challenging times. Difficult to get on the Bosch site to register - a shocking website!
